Job Profile

  • research for the Junior Star project Reconfiguring Bohemian Queenship: Power, Resources, and Effects in ca. 1300-1500 with respect to the economic agency and resources of royal women of Bohemia, queen’s domains, relationship of queens and town, or similar
  • archival and methodological research in Czech and non-Czech archives and libraries
  • active participation at international events (congresses, conferences, workshops)
  • preparation and running of the project’s conference and other events
  • publications in peer-reviewed international journals
  • participation in the project’s final monograph
  • communication of the project’s result to the wider public

Requirements

  • completed MA degree, an ongoing or finished PhD degree in History or related fields, with a specialisation in economic and urban history (other specialisation will be considered)
  • a track of scholarly publications, in the form of journal articles, studies, or contributions to collective monographs in the last five years
  • experience in presenting papers at scholarly conventions in the last five years
  • experience with publishing primary sources appreciated
  • experience with collaborating with grant projects appreciated
  • proficiency in English on the B2 level, other languages (especially those needed to study primary sources) advantage
  • capability of individual work and research
  • communication skills, responsibility, reliability, flexibility and adaptability
  • capability of team work, organisational skills
